Pride5

This is Vanna. She represents pride/vanity for my 7 deadly collection. My interpretation was that even faeries aren't immune to the 7 deadly vices/sins. She is on display at a local "mini works" art show. The size restriction of the piece has to be 5x5 The theme of the show is "Appetite". She would be 6 inches if standing. She is a custom mix of Prosculpt and Fimo. Fantasy Film wings. Black Tibetan hair. Painted and blushed with Genesis paints.

Symbolism: Purple is the color of pride. That is why I used it in her costume. I also used yellow because of the narcissus flower. She is staring into a vanity mirror and also has a compact mirror in her hand. I put a feather in her hair to represent a peacock feather "proud as a peacock" I chose black hair because from what I read pride is the darkest of the 7. I chose the name Vanna only because it is close in sound to vain. I tried to give her piercing blue eyes and a slight smile to express satisfaction and adoration of the reflection she sees in the mirror.
